MPNP Results

On 31 October 2025, Manitoba held a draw through The Skilled Worker stream, inviting 29 candidates to submit an application for Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

These invitations, known as Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA), were distributed among candidates who declared they had received Invitation to Apply (ITA) through the following strategic recruitment initiatives:

Of the 29 Letters of Advice to Apply issued in this draw, nine were awarded to candidates who declared a profile number Express Entry number and Job Seeker validation code.

The MPNP advises that candidates who have submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI) that meets the above selection criteria but did not receive a Letter of Advice to Apply may not have been invited for one of the following reasons:

• They declared they had taken an approved third-party language test to prove English or French proficiency but did not provide a valid test number in their Expression of Interest, or their language test results had expired; or
• They indicated they had received an Invitation to Apply for the MPNP through a strategic recruitment initiative but did not provide a valid invitation number.

Understanding this week’s MPNP selection process

Manitoba has prioritised draws based on strategic recruitment initiatives this year (held through the MPNP Skilled Worker Stream), as a direct way to meet the province’s most urgent immigration requirements.

Strategic recruitment initiatives are employer- and community-led processes that allow Manitoba to identify and invite candidates with skills that match the province’s labour needs.

Through these initiatives, the MPNP works with employers, regional partners, and cultural organisations to identify skilled workers with strong potential to settle in Manitoba.

This week’s draw also continued Manitoba’s priority for candidates eligible under the Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Potential Provincial Nominee Program Candidates in select provinces. The policy is jointly supported by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the Government of Manitoba.
