Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued further invitations to apply (ITAs) through the system Express Entry.

Express Entry has issued 574 invitation to apply (ITA) in a draw for candidates Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

To be considered for this draw, candidates were required to have:

• The minimum The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) minimum was 711;
• Create an Express Entry candidate profile before 1.54am (UTC) on 6 October 2025.

Details of the 2026 Express Entry results

Today’s announcement marks the first Express Entry selection round of the year.

Although Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has signalled through its Immigration Levels Plan announcement that it will continue to prioritise in-Canada candidates for permanent residency, and that category-based Express Entry rounds will continue, there is still much to monitor regarding how Express Entry rounds will unfold throughout the year.

Based on previous messaging from IRCC, we can anticipate an increase in French-language category rounds (as Canada’s immigration targets for French-speaking communities outside Quebec continue to rise) and the commencement of selections for IRCC’s newly announced category, “Physicians with Canadian work experience”.

To date, IRCC has issued 574 Invitations to Apply (ITA) through the Express Entry system in 2026.
