Only 11% of Express Entry candidates have a CRS score above 500

In over 2 weeks, the total number of Express Entry profiles in the pool has decreased by 2,547 – with the highest decrease seen in the 411 to 430 range.

But while the overall profiles have decreased, the number of profiles in the 601 to 1,200 score range has doubled from 306 to 696.

The second-highest score range, 501 to 600, increased by 417 profiles. Consequently, the pool Express Entry continues to become more competitive.

Most Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score ranges from 0 to 460 saw a decrease in the number of profiles, except for the 401 to 410 range. The most significant decrease in profiles (3,228) was seen in the 411 to 430 score range.

The score range that saw the largest increase in profiles (417) was the 501 to 600 range, while the 601-1,200 score range saw nearly 400 additional candidate profiles–indicating an increase in the number of high-scoring provincial nominee candidates in the pool.

Overall, the pool decreased by more than 2,500 candidate profiles in a period of just over 2 weeks.

Draws in the last 30 days

In the last 30 days (from 11/10 to 11/11), Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued a total of 10,861 Invitation to Apply (ITA) across 4 different types of draws.
But overall, the immigration department conducted 6 draws – 2 of which were occupation-specific draws.

The highest number of Invitations to Apply (ITA) were issued through the French-language proficiency draw on 29/10, consistent with Canada’s priority to increase French-speaking immigration outside Quebec.

Over the past 30 days, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has held

• the 7th French-language proficiency round of the year.

The immigration department issued 1,092 more Invitations to Apply (ITA) during this 30-day period compared to the previous 30-day period (from 11 September to 11 October).
